Hi, I’m Tori (they/she), the main human being behind Berry Blooms Floral Co. I don’t often feel I’m the best at talking about myself BUT, I want you to have the opportunity to get to know the person behind your flowers! So let’s dive into how this used-to-be chemist found their true calling in being one heck of a florist.

I’VE ALWAYS loved NATURE & ART

From a young age, I have always shown a deep love and appreciation for plants and flowers. Working with my grandma in the garden initiated that spark.

Since high school, I always loved balancing art and science. I really leaned into the science side when I worked in a chemistry lab in college!

It wasn’t until 2020 when I visited the historic LA flower market with my cousin that I considered actually pursuing floristry! The hands-on experience and the beauty of the result immediately put me in a state of flow—I was hooked!

Eager to delve into the world of florals, I IMMEDIATELY started looking for entry-level opportunities in San Diego and taking online work shops.

Around June of 2021, I began working with a local wedding florist, running her market pop-up on weekends. This really opened up a world of learning, and I continued to collaborate with more florists from there and never turned back! Berry Blooms Floral Co. was officially established in June of 2022!

WHO IS TORI BERRY?

I love try new creative mediums! Most recently I’ve been trying ceramics at The Mudd House and I’ve been teaching myself to knit!
I get hyper-fixated on music albums. Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party by Haley Williams and The Great Divide by Noah Kahan have been my go tos.
Recently I can’t get enough of Necessity Coffee’s specialty caps! The cosmic apple one was definitely a fave.
Merlin and New Girl
Once a week, I get to nanny my 2 y.o. cousin Leia. That’s definitely been keeping me going.
